Indian Ministry of Agriculture on April 10 released a press note, It says on increased capital investment in agriculture and its allied sectors.
The capital investment moved up to 20.1% for year 2010-2011. In 2004- 2005 year, it is at 13.5%. Within the 5 years, it was raised up to 7% due to of many reasons.
The Capital Investment is measured in terms of Gross Capital Formation (GCF) relative to the country Gross Domestic Products (GDP).
Main reasons to increase Agriculture Capital Investment in India 2012
Investment in public sector includes irrigation works, command area development, land reclamation, afforestation, and development state forms.
Private sector investments include construction activities including reclamation of land, construction of non residential buildings, farmhouses, irrigation works etc…
