Here is Latest Financial Business Banking News on Debit Cards Based on Indigenous RuPay Payment Platform Launched in India
On March 26, 2012, State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India and Union Bank of India are launched Debit Cards Based on Indigenously developed RuPay Payment Platform developed by National Payments Corporation of India.
This RuPay platform based debit cards will be accessed at all 91,000 ATMs and 6 lakh point of sale (POS) around the Indian country.
The NPCI well known as National Payments Corporation of India plans to partner banks to introduce this indigenously developed RuPay Payment Platform based credit cards by March 2015.
