Can you give a simple definition for What is a share?
In simple word, the share is splitted-up unit value of a company.
In other words, Shares are the documents issued by the company.
The ultimate goal of issuing shares is collection of a massive investment from people. Then Who is a shareholder?
Who is a shareholder?
The shareholder is person who owns issued company shares.
The value of share is depends upon various investment market factors.
Truly the value of a share is priced of total company belongings ( Permanent and Non-Permanent investment + some profit desired by company).
The value of share can be move up and down in investment market. The movement of value of shares depends upon many factors.
What is a Stock?
Stocks are the bonds or equities of a company. If you buy these bonds or stocks, you are a stock holder of the company. As a stockholder, you have to share the profits or losses of the company as long as you hold those company shares or stocks. If company stocks not performing well, you have to bare the loss of investment. If those stocks or bonds are in good performing position, you can get dividends of the invested company.
What are Dividends?
Dividends are the payments that are distributed to all share holders in profits, paid by the company personnel or board of directors.
